Terms of Service
Last updated: July 24, 2026
These terms govern your use of Spothello. By creating an account or connecting a calendar, you agree to them. If you're signing up on behalf of a company, you're agreeing on that company's behalf and confirming you're authorized to do so.
What Spothello does
Spothello lets a host connect a calendar and email address so that, when the host is CC'd on an email thread, Spothello's bot can offer the other people on that thread real, live meeting slots and book one directly onto the host's calendar when someone picks it. There's also a web dashboard for managing your account, availability, and booking history.
Accounts
- You need a valid email address to create an account, and you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- Solo accounts get one seat. Company accounts are created by a super admin and can add members up to the seats purchased.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account, including calendar events created and emails sent through it.
Connecting your calendar and email
By connecting a calendar, you're authorizing Spothello to read your availability and create, modify, or cancel events on the one calendar you designate, strictly for slots offered through the product. By CC'ing Spothello's bot on an email thread, you're authorizing it to read that thread for the purpose of identifying you as the host and offering slots to the other people on it. You can disconnect your calendar at any time from your dashboard.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Spothello to send unsolicited bulk email or spam.
- Connect a calendar you don't have the right to connect.
- Attempt to book, alter, or access slots or bookings you weren't actually offered.
- Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the service, including its email or booking infrastructure.
- Use the service for anything unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Trials, subscriptions, and billing
- New accounts start on a free trial. After the trial ends, continued use requires an active paid plan.
- Paid plans and premium feature add-ons (like a custom sender name or custom email design) are billed through Razorpay. Prices shown at checkout are the prices that apply.
- Premium feature add-ons are billed on a recurring basis and remain active only while the subscription is current; they're automatically revoked if a payment lapses.
- Company accounts are billed per seat, based on seats purchased, not seats used.
Cancellation and refunds
You can stop using Spothello and let your subscription lapse at any time. Refunds can be requested within 1 month of a charge; outside that window, amounts already charged for a billing period generally aren't refunded for that period, except where required by law.
Data and privacy
How we handle the data behind all of this, your account, your calendar, and the emails Spothello processes, is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Intellectual property
Spothello and its underlying software belong to us. Using the service doesn't give you ownership of any part of it. You keep ownership of your own calendar data, contacts, and the content of your emails.
Disclaimer
Spothello is provided "as is." We work to keep availability calculations, bookings, and calendar syncing accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we're not responsible for issues caused by a third-party service we depend on (like Google Calendar, Gmail, or our email provider) being unavailable.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Spothello isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including missed meetings caused by a third-party outage outside our control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard, which permanently removes your calendar connection, bookings, availability, and invite history. We can suspend or terminate an account for violating these terms, non-payment, or extended inactivity, with notice where practical.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders directly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
